Our School Board is a formal body established to provide guidance and oversight to the school.  The roles and powers of the board are bound in legislation.
Terms of reference
Our Board consists of 12 members. The school board membership is made up of parents, community members, staff members and the principal. The Board meet twice per term in week 4 and 8.
Role of the School Board
The Leda PS board is committed to enhancing the school’s positive relationship with the school community by delivering timely, clear and open communication, with the aim of:
- Enhancing shared understanding and responsibility for student learning;
- Enabling early identification and sharing of concerns;
- Encouraging parental awareness of and participation in school events;
- Promoting community understanding of the school’s values and ethos
