Student Services

The Student Services Team at Leda Primary School support staff to discuss and plan for students who may be ‘at risk’ socially, emotionally, physically, or academically.

Referrals to the Student Service Team are made by classroom teachers using data, observations, or other evidence. These referrals go through the Learning Support Co-ordinators or the School’s Administration. The Student Services Team meet fortnightly to ensure that we stay up to date with all of our student needs.

At Leda Primary School, the following Student Services Team may support your child:

  • Mrs Sarah Hill – Principal
  • Mrs Jodie Williams – Deputy Principal
  • Mrs Mairi Millson – Deputy Principal
  • Mrs Sarah Rogers – School Chaplain
  • Ms Jessica Fitzgerald – School Psychologist

The Student Service Team’s role is to:

  • Share information with relevant stakeholders
  • Respond positively and promptly to any student concerns
  • Build and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with parents and agencies
  • Make referrals to external agencies where appropriate
  • Demonstrate and promote an ongoing commitment to well-being of our students
